MOLT

As a 2022 Alembic Artist Resident, I used my time in the studio to lie on the ground, dance to music I grew up listening to, explore, and ultimately come to a place where MOLT evolved. MOLT, done in collaboration with Gemini Moon (Pui Yen Tam), was a multimedia experience where I reimagined memories from my childhood + a sense of self by using my body and voice in relationship to improvised soundscapes by Gemini Moon. I included the audience in childlike games/rituals and wanted to lift the veil that separates artist from reality in real time.
