This 5-minute solo improvisation was based on the theme of “risk.” I chose to perform entirely in silence and then, at the piece’s culmination, openly come out as both queer and non-binary to an audience of over 95 people.

fuera (out) was selected to be performed at the 2019 The Living Room Circus, an annual showcase of new creative works by The Circus Project.
